Types of diabetes and diet plan

To control diabetes, they must have adequate information on diabetes and must follow diet to control glucose levels in the blood.

Diabetes Types

Diabetes Type 1

In diabetes type 1 (insulin-dependent), also known as juvenile diabetes, insulin-dependent patients. Some important points about diabetes type 1 –

1. Usually sudden onset.
2. This form is produced mainly in the age group.
3. It is not failure of the pancreas to produce sufficient quantities of insulin. This may be caused by viruses or because of autoimmunity.
4. The child is usually insufficient.
5. Acidosis is fairly common.

Diabetes type 2

In type 2 diabetes (non insulin-dependent), also called adult onset diabetes, patients are not dependent insulin. Some important points about diabetes type 2 –

1. It develops slowly and generally milder and more stable.
2. This form occurs mainly in adults. Women who have had large babies are also prone to develop this type of diabetes in the future.
3. Insulin can be produced by the pancreas, but the action is not complete.
4. The person often overweight.
5. Acidosis is uncommon.
6. Most patients improve with weight loss and remains in nutritional therapy.

Plan Plan Diabetic

1. Calorie diet should be 60-70% of carbohydrates, protein 15-20% and 15-25% fat. The minimum amount of carbohydrates should be 100g to prevent ketosis.
2. High fat content in unsaturated fatty acids such as vegetable oil is preferred poly sunflower oil (sesame, corn oil) as animal fats and fat-hydro generated containing more fatty acids saturated. Fish and chicken are better than meat and eggs.
3. Simple sugars should be limited, because it is easily absorbed and have a lower glycemic high.
Wheat 4. Brown rice is preferable because it contains' Ascarbose "that allow carbohydrate that is absorbed slowly.

6. sodium intake should not exceed 6 g day. Sodium is limited to 3G in diabetic patients hypertension.
